Latch‑X is committed to transparency and fairness in how we handle payments and refunds. As a business based in the European Union, we follow all applicable EU consumer protection laws, including the right to withdraw from digital purchases.

1. Free Tier Access

We offer a free tier to let you explore core Latch‑X features before purchasing. We strongly recommend using the free version to evaluate whether the product fits your needs.

3. EU Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from your first monthly subscription purchase.

If you exercise this right after service has started, we will refund all payments received minus a proportionate amount for the period already supplied (days used in the first month). We will issue the refund within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the original payment method.

Business customers (purchases for professional use) do not have the statutory withdrawal right.

4. One-Time Purchases (e.g., reports, upgrades)

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the item has not been downloaded or used.

5. Downgrades & Cancellations

You can downgrade or cancel any plan at any time. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We do not offer partial-month refunds.

7. Taxes & Processing Fees

Where a statutory withdrawal applies, we reimburse all payments received (including VAT). If service has started, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the period already supplied, as permitted by law. We do not deduct payment gateway or processing fees from the refundable amount.
