Latch-X Schema — Terms of Use (Summary)

What you may do (without a license) - Read the user-guide and schema descriptions. - Use illustrative YAML snippets for learning and internal evaluation. - Cite the documentation with attribution (CC BY-NC 4.0 applies to the docs text/figures only).

What requires a license - Implementing the Latch-X YAML schema in software, libraries, SaaS, or services (production or commercial). - Redistributing the normative schema/specification (machine-readable or verbatim). - Using the “Latch-X” trademark in a way that suggests endorsement or compatibility claims.

Prohibited without prior written permission - Commercial use of the normative schema/specification. - Deriving or publishing a competing specification that is a substantial reproduction of the normative schema.

Trademarks - “Latch-X” is a registered EU trademark (EUTM No. 019183034). No trademark rights are granted by these terms.
